WHAT IS CONSIDERED PERSONAL INFORMATION?
By definition, personal information means information about an identifiable individual. This includes an individual’s name, home address and phone number, age, sex, marital or family status, identifying number (such as Social Insurance Number), financial information, educational history, etc.

WHAT INFORMATION DOES AXIS COLLECT?
We collect only the personal information needed for the purposes of providing financial services to our clients. Specifically, understand a client’s eligibility for a vehicle loan, deliver vehicle loan related services to clients (including payment processing), protect the client and Axis against error, fraud, theft, and damage and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

When a client visits out websites, we will not collect personal information unless the client chooses to use and receive online products and services that require such information. Any electronic transactions with Axis Auto Finance, including payment processing, use up-to-date security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information.

Axis will typically seek the client’s consent when personal information is being collected. Under certain circumstances, we require authorized dealers to confirm the client’s consent to provide personal information for a specific purpose. Axis assumes the client’s consent in cases where a client volunteers information for an obvious purpose. Under specific circumstances, collection, use or disclosure of personal information without consent is authorized or required by law.

WHAT IF A CLIENT DOES NOT WISH TO PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION ONLINE?
If a client chooses not to provide personal information to Axis Auto Finance through the Internet he/she can contact us by telephone, fax, mail or in person. Our staff is available from 10am to 6pm EST Monday through Friday.
